从事作物高产、抗逆分子设计及育种工作。作物的产量构成复杂,遗传基础比较复杂,易受到环境影响,涉及到植物特定器官的形成与发育、生长调节物质的合成与作用机理、基础代谢产物的合成与利用等方面。RNA的m6A甲基化修饰对作物的生长发育和抗逆性具有重要影响。该修饰涉及植物特定器官的形成与发育、生长调节物质的合成与作用机理、基础代谢产物的合成与利用等方面。是植物发育过程中重要的分子机制,同时也参与调节对各种非生物和生物胁迫的反应。本课题以大豆等作物为研究对象,研究m6A RNA甲基转移酶的核心组分,解析其功能及调控网络,筛选可用于高产、抗逆分子育种的优异基因,为培育高产、耐逆大豆新品种提供重要理论依据和技术支撑。
