主要从事转基因生物安全评价与检测技术研究,以国内外转基因作物为研究对象,解析重要转化体外源DNA插入整合结构和全长序列,并以此为基础建立特异性定性、定量PCR检测方法,转化事件纯合、杂合状态鉴定方法等。分子特征研究细化了外源基因整合的关键指标和分析方法,获得了国内外20余个重要转化体的分子数据,进一步提高了安全评价的科学性和准确性;转基因生物精准检测技术研究为我国转基因生物安全监管、检测提供了关键技术方法和标准。近年研究兴趣聚焦于多组学技术在生物技术产品安全评价中的应用,探索生物技术产品基因组、转录组、蛋白质组和代谢组等不同层面的独特分子特征及其与安全性的关系,为抗旱耐盐碱等新性状及基因编辑等新技术产品提供了新的风险识别和评价途径。担任农业农村部植物及植物用微生物生态环境安全监督检验测试中心(北京)常务副主任,负责建设并运行部级转基因检测中心,完成了农业部委托的转基因成分调查、生物安全突发事件应急处置、品种区试样品转基因检测份样品的抽样和检测任务,为农产品质量安全、转基因监管及社会委托提供了高效、准确的服务。
